The charter of the Oversight Work Group is to oversee QuEST Forum operations, including governance. This includes working with the Chief Operating Officer and QuEST Forum Management Team, managing business as directed by the Executive Board, directing work group strategic plan deliverables, and responsibility for the overall TL 9000 program, including Registration and Measurement Repository systems, recognition, training, translations, registrars, and accreditation bodies.

2010 Oversight Initiatives and Projects

  • Complete tasks required to publish the R4.5 Measurements Handbook.
  • Translate selected important TL 9000 documents and web material.
  • Manage the Alert Process.
  • Complete and implement the validation audit process, CB transfer process guidelines, and auditor substitution guidelines.
  • Oversee the TL 9000 Accreditation and Registrar processes.
  • Review and update as necessary the QuEST Forum Anti-Trust Agreement and Bylaws.
  • Complete the review of guidance documents not completed in 2009.
  • Oversee operation of QuEST Forum e-learning facility.
  • Manage and strengthen industry liaisons and partnerships./li>
  • Conduct the quarterly TL 9000 Users surveys and the annual Member Value survey, analyze the results, and put in place appropriate action plans.
  • Manage the QuEST Forum infrastructure, including Registration Management System (RMS), Measurements Repository System (MRS) and websites.
  • Continue development, implementation and improvement of electronic tools available to QuEST Forum and TL 9000 users.
  • Enhance and expand networking opportunities.
